Lunch in Rome
A good art tour not only delights the eyes and the mind, but is also ready to refresh the palate after a long stretch of standing, staring and starving. In my vast experience, it is not a bad idea to have your lunch spot ready to go, so you don’t make the mistake of wandering sadly and aimlessly until you end up with microwaved linguine surrounded by the same tourists who were elbowing you in the Sistine chapel!
These are a few restaurants that offer dishes for light lunchers along with several that provide a full blown meal. You’ll find that spouses, kids, friends, and relatives like touring a lot more after they are at a table with a plate of fine Italian food in front of them.
